Rolex will be the official timekeeper for Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club, its officials announced on Wednesday.
Khimji’s Watches, the official distributor of Rolex in Oman and officials of Muscat Hills signed an agreement for a yearlong association. The announcement was made to the media on Wednesday by His Highness Sayyid Al Rawy Kais Al Said, chief executive officer and chairman of Muscat Hills, Pankaj Khimji, director of Khimji Ramdas and MadhusinhJesrani, general manager of Khimji’s Watches.
As per the agreement, the association will cover all the golf tournaments at Muscat Hills, particularly the His Highness Rawy Classic 27 Hole Strokeplay, the Club Championships, Monthly Medals and any other major event that will be held at Muscat Hills.
Speaking to the media, Pankaj said he is delighted to see the rapid growth of Muscat Hills in a short span of time. “I am extremely happy to see Muscat Hills grow in a very short period of time.As the leading name in luxury watches, Rolex has been the preeminent symbol of style, elegance, performance and prestige, values that Muscat Hills also embodies. Being the official timekeeper for Muscat Hills golfing tournaments is a perfect strategic partnership that we are delighted to initiate,” he said.
H.H. Sayyid Al Rawy said Muscat Hills has become a destination for Oman’s high end golfing community. “Support of globally renowned brands such as Rolex that stand for perfection and class only reiterate the popularity and recognition of our internationally acclaimed golf course,” he said.
