Vodafone Coming to The Business Tower at Muscat Hills

Muscat Hills International Developments (MHID), one of Oman’s leading real estate development and management companies, today announced that Vodafone, one of the globe’s largest telecommunication companies, has signed a long-term lease at the Business Tower at The Boulevard by Muscat Hills.

With no current head office in Oman, Vodafone is slated to occupy one of the floors of the Business Tower when it moves in towards the end of 2020. Vodafone’s move showcases the steady influx of companies seeking office space within the Boulevard by Muscat Hills area.

“It’s so exciting to see a telecommunication firm of Vodafone’s caliber move to the Business Tower,” said Ilyas Malik, Deputy CEO of MHID and Chairman of Malik Developments. “Once completed, the Business Tower willbe one of the most beautiful, accessible and sustainable buildings in Muscat, and a major draw for the city’s top talent given the ITC free-hold status of the building”.

Vodafone’s operations in Oman will begin next year, following a 15-year partnership signed with Oman Future Telecommunication, an Oman 70 Holding company. DieggoMassida, the CEO of partner markets at Vodafone, said that “raising the level of Omani labour is the core focus of our partnership”. As part of the agreement, Oman Future Telecommunications will join Vodafone’s global partner programme and form a board of directors for the company, which will also include support and investment from the Omani government.

The Business Tower introduces premium corporate space available for purchase to all nationalities. Located at The Boulevard by Muscat Hills, the office building offers a strikingly modern design consisting of 13 offices over 6 floors. The officesare of different sizes and are fittedin the most modern fashion with raised floors concealing all cables and ducts, suspended ceilings and AC’s. Additionally, automatic blinds are fitted in all full glass windowsto provide just the right amount of natural light for an optimal working environment. In the basement, there are three floors of underground parking. On the ground floor, as per the norms of The Boulevard, there will be a mixture of restaurants and retail shops. Ownership at the Business Tower is open to Omani citizens, GCC nationals and expatriates of different nationalities. Ownership also entitles residency for non-Omani buyers and their immediate family members.The Business Tower is a development by Oman based Muscat Hills International Development with Malik Developments being an equity, advisory and development partner.
